He was quoted as saying, "I couldn’t believe I was allowed to be in that movie. It was so fun. I’m so lucky to play this character because he means so much to me. There's something about his ethos that's very personal to me." This reveals a deep connection between the actor and the character, hinting at a potentially compelling performance.
He also shared a heartwarming anecdote about reuniting with his Top Gun: Maverick co-star, Danny Ramirez, on the Doomsday set.
